Entregan Gobernador y Alcalde equipo por 10.7 mdp a la Comisaría de Seguridad y Protección Ciudadana
En un esfuerzo conjunto por mantener a Saltillo como una de las ciudades más seguras de México, el gobernador Miguel Ángel Riquelme Solís y el alcalde José María Fraustro Siller entregaron 10 patrullas, 2 drones tácticos y un nuevo integrante canino a la Comisaría de Seguridad y Protección Ciudadana.
El alcalde Chema Fraustro subrayó la importancia de la colaboración entre la sociedad y el gobierno, liderado por el gobernador Riquelme, para fortalecer la seguridad y la visión de futuro de la ciudad.

Fraustro destacó que Saltillo no solo ha logrado consolidarse como la capital más segura de México, sino que también ha mantenido esta posición, lo que se traduce en beneficios directos para los ciudadanos.
En esta ocasión, se entregaron 10 patrullas tipo pick-up a la Policía Municipal y 2 drones tácticos al Centro de Control y Comando, además de la incorporación de “Draco”, un pastor belga malinois, al grupo de la Unidad Canina K9 del Grupo de Reacción Sureste. Estas mejoras representaron una inversión de 10.7 millones de pesos.
El gobernador Miguel Ángel Riquelme, destacó que los logros en seguridad en Saltillo y Coahuila son el resultado de un esfuerzo conjunto y agradeció al alcalde Fraustro por su dedicación y coordinación en materia de seguridad, así como su disposición para invertir en este tema.
Federico Fernández Montañez, comisionado de Seguridad y Protección Ciudadana, elogió la estrategia de seguridad pública trazada por el alcalde Chema Fraustro y el gobernador Riquelme Solís, que se basa en la coordinación, inversión y capacitación de las fuerzas de seguridad para mantener la seguridad en Saltillo.
La policía preventiva Perla Xiomara López Zamora expresó su agradecimiento a las autoridades por proporcionarles herramientas y equipo para realizar su trabajo, así como por mejorar y dignificar sus condiciones laborales, mientras recibía simbólicamente las llaves de una de las patrullas.
El evento, que se llevó a cabo en el Biblioparque Sur, contó con la presencia del diputado local Álvaro Moreira Valdés, Héctor Flores Rodríguez, subsecretario de Seguridad Pública en el Estado, Hugo Gutiérrez Rodríguez, director de la Policía Municipal, así como los regidores Jorge Leyva García y Eduardo Medrano Aguirre, miembros de la Comisión de Seguridad Pública y Tránsito.
