Critica Rubén deuda ilegal del sexenio anterior

En la víspera de su Segundo Informe de Gobierno, Rubén Moreira Valdez señaló que no hay justificación para la forma indebida en que se contrataron millonarios créditos en la administración anterior.
En entrevista para El Siglo de Torreón, Moreira Valdez fue enfático en señalar que su administración mantiene un ritmo de inversión en obra similar al de gobernadores anteriores, excepto al que encabezó su hermano Humberto y Jorge Torres López (interino en el último año), quienes le apostaron a un endeudamiento como nunca antes.
Así, señala en la entrevista al periódico lagunero, al cumplir dos años como gobernador de Coahuila, Rubén criticó al gobierno que apostó por la deuda para hacer grandes obras.
Según el medio, en sus declaraciones el Gobernador dice que su estilo es distinto, que apuesta por la austeridad y afirma que no se justifica ese nivel de endeudamiento.
"Se apalancaron (de deuda) y fue su opción al desarrollo", dijo Rubén, "hay una cosa que no se puede justificar de la deuda, que es la forma en la que se pidieron los créditos".
El gobernador criticó la falsificación de firmas para obtener los créditos, incluso dice que no comprende esa acción porque el PRI tenía la mayoría en el Congreso local, reproduce El Siglo.
"Lo dijo Esther Quintana (exdiputada local del PAN), 'yo no sé por qué lo hicieron, si pudieron haber pedido un crédito como lo piden todos los estados'".
El gobierno de Humberto heredó al gobierno actual una deuda de 33 mil millones de pesos.
Moreira negó que Coahuila se encuentre quebrado y afirmó que, por el contrario, se puede presumir la fortaleza del estado y su capacidad crediticia. Aclaró que su administración está realizando la misma obra que otros gobiernos, a excepción del pasado que le apostó todo a la deuda.
"Tenemos la misma inversión que tuvieron gobiernos anteriores excepto el inmediato a mí, porque pidió crédito, con eso hizo obra y construyeron 100 puentes vehiculares. En Coahuila en un sexenio construía uno o dos (puentes). El gobierno de Eliseo Mendoza construyó un puente vehicular en Saltillo; el de Enrique Martínez hizo dos distribuidores viales; el gobierno del doctor (Rogelio) Montemayor construyó una obra vial importante".
El gobernador niega que tenga un corto margen de maniobra en las finanzas públicas, pero afirma que le "gustaría" que no hubiera deuda.
"Creo que tiene que haber un balance, tal vez una deuda más moderada. Mucha austeridad como le hacemos nosotros. Hay economías que viven en el déficit y andan siempre pidiendo, yo creo que hay que ser moderado. Luego dicen que mi gobierno es medio aburrido".
Rubén comentó que muchos municipios y estados contratan deuda, pero insistió en que eso no justifica la deuda actual de Coahuila, finaliza la entrevista para El Siglo.
