Cierra Pronnif Coahuila el 2022 con 750 denuncias de abuso sexual contra menores

De las 750 denuncias por agresión sexual a menores que recibió la Procuraduría para los Niños, las Niñas y la Familia (Pronnif), durante 2022, al menos un 30 por ciento ocurrió en el ámbito escolar y el resto se dio en el seno familiar.

De acuerdo con la procuradora María Leticia Sánchez Campos, la mayoría de las denuncias se concentraron en los Ministerios Públicos de la Región Laguna y Sureste de Coahuila, donde se está dando seguimiento a cada caso en particular.
“Todas se dieron vista al Ministerio Público, quien es el encargado de dar paso a la investigación; hay que recordar que la mayoría de las agresiones se dan principalmente por los cuidadores”, comentó.
Aunque padres de familia y otros afectados han denunciado la falta de capacidad de la dependencia gubernamental para dar solución y acompañamiento a los casos de menores violentados, Sánchez Campos insistió en que esta instancia solamente es representativa y funge como un canal para la denuncia ante los Ministerios Públicos correspondientes.
“Cuando la Pronnif recibe algún delito de índole sexual, la autoridad facultada para resolver e investigar es el Ministerio Público, en este caso hay dos MP exclusivos para atender a los niños, niñas y adolescentes que sufren algún delito sexual.
“Cada caso o situación que tenemos se atiende inmediatamente. La Procuraduría no brinda asistencia social si no la asesoría para las niñas y los niños y así poder garantizar sus derechos, la atención siempre es prioritaria”, dijo la procuradora.
Concluyó mencionando que la cifra de agresiones hacia menores se ha mantenido desde hace un par de años.
“Son números que no han variado, lo que sí logró disminuir fueron los temas de violencia”, expuso, sin especificar el porcentaje a la baja en esa materia.
También mencionó que “es preocupante que se susciten este tipo de situaciones y por eso la Pronnif está en los centros educativos dando mensajes para evitar este tipo de situaciones”.
