En Coahuila realizaron 404 atenciones diarias por enfermedades gastrointestinales durante ola de calor

La Secretaría de Salud federal reveló que durante la ola de calor se registraron 16, 571 casos en clínicas y hospitales en Coahuila.
Este periodo de altas temperaturas transcurre del 28 de mayo al 8 de julio. Durante esos días se registraron temperaturas superiores a los 40 grados en la mayoría de los municipios del estado de Coahuila, incluido Saltillo que se caracteriza por tener temperaturas menores a los 37 grados.
Cabe mencionar que estas temperaturas continúan, pero solo se cuenta con corte al 8 de julio.
El mayor número de personas afectadas fueron mujeres al contabilizarse 9,416 casos, mientras que en los hombres se registraron 7,155. Los grupos vulnerables son adultos mayores y niños menores de cinco años.

Este mes se registra un periódico más de altas temperaturas. Municipios como Piedras Negras, Monclova y Torreón superan los 40 grados. Ante esta situación, la Secretaría de Salud recomienda que se ingieran, al menos, 2 litros diarios de agua e incluir sueros orales.
Ante cualquier malestar, la recomendación es acudir al médico y no automedicarse, ya que una infección gastrointestinal y deshidratación pueden llevar a un cuadro clínico grave, que de no atenderse deriva en la muerte del paciente.
HOSPITALIZACIÓN Y DEFUNCIONES
La Secretaría de Salud local informó, que al corte del se contabilizaron 18 muertes.
De ellas, ocho en Piedras Negras, siete en Monclova, y una en Sacramento, Castaños, y Ramos Arizpe. Además de 177 casos de deshidratación y golpes de calor.
