300% traslados ‘covid’
Hasta el último corte del mes de agosto, en la Cruz Roja se han registrado 37 servicios de traslados de pacientes COVID a distintas clínicas y hospitales de la localidad, de acuerdo con la afiliación de seguridad social de los pacientes.
El coordinador de los socorristas de esta unidad médica, Juan Carlos Rocha, informó a VANGUARDIA que las atenciones se han triplicado durante los primeros 12 días de agosto en comparación con las cifras del mes anterior.
Además, dio a conocer que la mayoría de las solicitudes de atención en las últimas semanas son demandadas por personas jóvenes de no más de 40 años.
“Llevamos 37 servicios en el mes de agosto, las atenciones se han brindado mayormente a personas jóvenes de entre 30 y 40 años”, advirtió el paramédico.
Dijo que durante el mes de julio se atendía en promedio a una persona diariamente, mientras que en agosto se ha incrementado la estadística de solicitud hasta por 3 personas que son trasladadas, en su mayoría, a las áreas de Triage COVID del IMSS y del Hospital General.
El jefe de paramédicos de la Cruz Roja comentó que este departamento tiene a su disposición dos unidades de ambulancia en las que se traslada a los pacientes con alguna complicación de salud a causa del contagio de la enfermedad
Cabe recordar que hasta el 24 de julio la Cruz Roja no tenía un incremento mayor en los contagios y, sobre todo, en los traslados de pacientes contagiados, sin embargo, el crecimiento de los traslados se ha notado en estas ultimas semanas.
“En 2020 habíamos brindado 100 servicios de traslado de pacientes COVID, yo creo que el incremento se ha visto durante este año pero sobre todo en estas primeras semanas de agosto”, reconoció Juan Carlos Rocha.
SALTILLO, CON MÁS
DE MIL CASOS ACTIVOS
El día de ayer Saltillo rebasó la cifra de los mil contagios de COVID-19.
Según el reporte Coahuila del Plan Estatal de Prevención y Control COVID-19, este jueves se registraron en la entidad 444 nuevos casos en Coahuila, incluidas 13 defunciones, de las cuales 9 habrían ocurrido en Saltillo.
Con esta cifra, la entidad registra 2 mil 681 casos activos de COVID - 19, de los cuales mil 028 son de Saltillo.
La Secretaría de Salud informó la presencia de mil 028 casos activos y 120 personas hospitalizadas, incluyendo sospechosas, en la capital coahuilense, por lo que fue el municipio con más pacientes en ambos rubros. >6
