La 4T ha recortado 2 mil mdp en cuatro años a la UAdeC: rector
En los últimos cuatro años, el presupuesto anual de la Universidad Autónoma de Coahuila se ha desfasado o deteriorado en poco más de 2 mil millones de pesos, por la política de austeridad republicana implementada por el Gobierno Federal.

“Son cuatro años seguidos en los que se ha mantenido esta posición que no es buena para las instituciones de educación superior del país”, explicó Salvador Hernández Vélez, rector de la UAdeC, quien señaló que el recorte federal afecta los proyectos de infraestructura y mantenimiento, por ejemplo.
“Es un problema de financiamiento público porque es inequitativo y tampoco hay incremento al presupuesto ordinario de las universidades que se corresponda con la tasa de inflación, estamos por debajo de la tasa de inflación y es lo que estamos discutiendo”.
Las universidades públicas, como la UAdeC plantean tres puntos importantes: presupuesto por encima de la tasa de inflación; que vuelvan a poner la partida U081 que es para pensiones, y que haya fondos extraordinarios como había antes para infraestructura y mantenimiento de las instituciones de educación superior”.
“El único edificio que estamos haciendo y apenas terminando porque el recurso ha ido fluyendo poco a poco, es la Escuela de Música en Ciudad Universitaria, pero porque ya estaba aceptada desde la administración federal anterior”.
Señaló que dentro de la ANUIES se han presentado los requerimientos de las instituciones, pues además hay universidades que reciben un financiamiento público del 92% el Estado respectivo solo aporta el 8% del recurso restante. En cambio, en Coahuila el Gobierno del Estado aporta el 50% y la Federación el resto.
