Liquidado el 98% del incendio en cañón de San Lorenzo en Saltillo
La Secretaría de Medio Ambiente de Coahuila informó que se logró un 98 por ciento de liquidación del incendio en Llano Largo (cañón de San Lorenzo) luego de concluir los trabajos este lunes, que estuvieron acompañados por rachas de lluvia y granizo.
Las labores de vigilancia y liquidación continuarán este martes, ya que se tiene el 100 por ciento de control del siniestro forestal que consumió 100 hectáreas de matorral y arbolado adulto.
Este lunes participaron elementos de la Secretaría de Medio Ambiente de Coahuila (SMA), Comisión Nacional Forestal (Conafor), Secretaría de la Defensa Nacional (Sedena), brigadas rurales, municipio de Saltillo, Bomberos, asociaciones civiles como Profauna y voluntarios.
Además se contó con equipo aéreo: un helicóptero del Gobierno Federal (Conagua) y una aeronave del Gobierno del Estado.
Este incendio forestal forma parte de los siniestros del complejo Huachichil-San Lorenzo, de los cuales el de Huachichil en Arteaga y Jagüey de Ferniza en Saltillo se encontró completamente liquidado, que consumió 228 hectáreas de matorral submontano y arbolado adulto.
En tanto, el incendio en Coyotera 2, en la sierra del pueblo mágico de Arteaga, se encontró controlado en un 90 por ciento y liquidado en un 80 por ciento, y ha afectado 300 hectáreas de matorral y arbolado adulto.
Sin embargo, el siniestro en Santa Rosa (Cuauhtémoc) en Saltillo lleva un control del 50 por ciento y una liquidación del 40 por ciento, y continúa siendo sofocado por 237 elementos de corporaciones de los tres niveles de gobierno, además de brigadas rurales, asociaciones civiles y voluntarios.
