Miguel Riquelme y Román Cepeda entregan patrullas a Tránsito y Vialidad de Torreón

Torreón, Coahuila. Acompañado del alcalde Román Alberto Cepeda González, el gobernador de Coahuila, Miguel Ángel Riquelme Solís, hizo entrega de nueve patrullas con una inversión de 4.2 millones de pesos a la dirección de Tránsito de esta ciudad, con el objetivo de reforzar la seguridad vial en el municipio.
En un acto efectuado en la explanada de la Puerta Amarilla, el mandatario estatal, felicitó a los elementos de la corporación por su lealtad al trabajo y el esfuerzo que han demostrado en el desempeño de su función.

Reconoció la labor que realizan a través de campañas para evitar accidentes y eso hace que hoy Torreón sea distinto al de hace unos años, apuntó.
El Gobierno del Estado y Torreón están invirtiendo en conjunto para beneficio del municipio; por ahora se llega al 60 por ciento de avance del Sistema Vial Cuatro Caminos y en unos meses más los torreonenses estarán disfrutando esa gran obra.
Asimismo, anunció que estamos a unos cuantos días de iniciar la construcción del Sistema Vial Villa Florida, por ello son importantes los elementos de Tránsito y Vialidad.
Serán dos vialidades que están cerca, pero que también ya se está haciendo el trabajo para no afectar o afectar lo menos posible a quienes circulan por esas vías y que significarán una mejor infraestructura vial del norte del país, según dijo.
El alcalde, por su parte, dijo que al inicio de su gestión el principal reto era cambiar la imagen de la dirección de Tránsito y Movilidad que tenía y no solamente se ha avanzado de manera importante, sino que ahora la corporación es más fuerte y proporciona un mejor servicio a la ciudadanía.
“2023 representa mayores retos, más trabajo y mayor capacitación, los elementos de Tránsito tienen mi confianza, pero se tienen que ganar la de la ciudadanía y esa es una tarea de todos días”, señaló el edil.
Luis Morales, director de Vialidad y Movilidad Urbana, explicó que se trata de unidades plus drive modelo 2023, transmisión automática, motor 1.3, equipadas con torreta, radio móvil, rotuladas, con una inversión de 4.3 millones de pesos.
La agente Imelda Magali Domínguez Martínez dijo que anteriormente la corporación tuvo una serie de controversias con la ciudadanía, sin embargo, comentó que con la llegada de la Administración de Román Alberto Cepeda González y su equipo de trabajo, el rumbo de la Dirección de Tránsito y Vialidad cambió.
En el evento se contó con la presencia del Coronel de Infantería Diplomado de Estado Mayor, Elías Alejandro Palomares Villegas, comandante del 33 Batallón de Infantería, en representación del comandante de la Onceava Región Militar, Eugenio Ibarra Flores y de Pablo García Chacón, presidente del Consejo Consultivo de Vialidad, empresarios y representantes de cámaras y organismos empresariales.
