Da COVID-19 una tregua a Coahuila: bajan contagios y muertes

En Saltillo se registraron 39 nuevos contagios y tres fallecimientos por COVID-19 durante la jornada dominical
SALTILLO, COAH.- Coahuila registró la tercera jornada más baja de contagios de COVID-19 en lo que va de este año, al reportarse 109 casos nuevos de la enfermedad. El 2 y 3 de enero son, al momento, los días con menos casos: 62 infectados en cada fecha.
Junto a los nuevos casos oficializados este domingo por la Secretaría de Salud de Coahuila, en la entidad, también se comunicó de once decesos, la cifra más baja durante los primeros seis días de febrero.
En el caso de Saltillo, se registraron 39 nuevos contagios y tres fallecimientos, correspondientes estos últimos a dos hombres y una mujer, todos de la tercera edad.
DEFUNCIONES Y CONTAGIOS DE LA JORNADA DOMINICAL
Los once decesos, además de los tres en Saltillo, se verificaron en Acuña, Monclova, Sabinas y San Juan de Sabinas, con una muerte en cada uno; mientras que en Torreón se reportaron cuatro.
Respecto a la distribución de nuevos casos, con 39, Saltillo encabezó la estadística; mientras que en Monclova hubo 37; en Torreón, 10; en Piedras Negras 9; en Zaragoza, 6; 2 en Frontera; 2 en San Buenaventura; y uno en cada uno de las poblaciones de Candela, Ramos Arizpe, Sacramento y Matamoros.
Al momento hay en Coahuila 7 mil 180 casos activos de COVID-19, apareciendo Saltillo nuevamente como el municipio con más incidencia: 3 mil 249, contra mil 054 de Torreón; 532 de Monclova; 403 de Piedras Negras y 278, de Ramos Arizpe, como los cinco con más alta cantidad.

Sólo Escobedo, Sierra Mojada e Hidalgo no registran en este momento infectados con el coronavirus.
En suma, hay ahora 314 personas hospitalizadas ya sea como casos sospechosos o confirmados de COVID-19, de los que Saltillo tiene 119; Torreón, 93; Monclova, 38; Piedras Negras, 27; Acuña, 25, y San Juan de Sabinas, 12.
Se contabilizan en Coahuila, a lo largo de toda la pandemia, un total de 141 mil 434 casos, incluidos 8 mil 368 decesos, con 125 mil 886 personas recuperadas.
