Sigue comida chatarra en escuelas pese a prohibición

Aunque la comida chatarra está prohibida en las escuelas desde marzo del año pasado, el consumo de este tipo de alimentos continúa dentro y fuera de las instituciones educativas, según un recorrido realizado por VANGUARDIA.
La Secretaría de Educación y la Secretaría de Salud se habían comprometido a regular la situación, pero al parecer el esfuerzo no ha sido suficiente, ya que los pequeños siguen ingiriendo, frituras, refrescos y dulces.
VANGUARDIA pudo constatar que los alumnos tienen acceso a comida chatarra, tanto dentro como fuera de los planteles educativos.
Se eligieron algunas escuelas al azar, como por ejemplo, la primaria José García Rodríguez, que se ubica en la colonia República, los pequeños durante su receso estaban ingiriendo bebidas azucaradas, aunque se supone que se debe de tomar agua natural, además de que comían frituras, galletas y pan, eran pocos los niños que se podía apreciar que comían alimentos permitidos.
En la primaria Adolfo López Mateos, de la colonia Isabel Amalia, los niños comían frituras, mientras que en la Anexa, los alumnos tomaban refresco, bebida que está prohibida.
Además afuera de estas instituciones educativas, había vendedores ambulantes con frituras y dulces, esto es lo que la mayoría de los niños compra a la salida de la escuela, además de casas donde se ponen puestos con este tipo de productos.
Según se había acordado, las escuelas que continuaran permitiendo la comida chatarra serían sancionadas con hasta cinco mil salarios mínimos, cerca de 365 mil pesos, según lo establecido por la Secretaría de Educación y la Secretaría de Salud a nivel federal.
