Se concentra en Saltillo 39% de muertes COVID
Cinco veces más que Torreón y Monclova
La tercera ola de la pandemia en Coahuila se concentró en Saltillo, ya que en promedio han muerto 2.84 personas al día por COVID-19 en lo que va de agosto en la capital, que acumuló casi la mitad de los casos fatales registrados en el estado.
Ayer la Secretaría de Salud informó la muerte de cinco personas más por esta enfermedad en Saltillo, por lo tanto sumó 37 decesos en 13 días del mes; esto representó un promedio de 2.84 muertes diarias.
En total, el COVID-19 ha cobrado la vida de 78 personas en el estado, que se traduce en 6.5 coahuilenses fallecidos al día en solo 14 municipios del estado.
Después de Saltillo, los territorios con más defunciones por esta enfermedad fueron Acuña, Monclova y Torreón, con siete casos fatales cada uno; Piedras Negras, con seis; y San Juan de Sabinas, con cuatro.
Además Ramos Arizpe, Nava y Frontera registraron dos fallecimientos cada uno; mientas que Parras, San Buenaventura, Sabinas, Francisco I. Madero, Villa Unión y Nadadores contabilizaron solo un deceso en cada municipio.
Ayer también se reportó la detección de 338 nuevos contagios en la entidad, por lo que Coahuila sumó 3 mil 469 casos en lo que va de agosto, lo que significó un ritmo de 289.08 contagios al día.
La mayoría de los casos del mes se localizó en Saltillo, que ayer reportó 135 nuevos, por lo que acumuló mil 356 en menos de dos semanas; esta cifra representó al 39.04 por ciento de los casos en el estado.
Asimismo, la capital coahuilense fue el municipio con más activos al llegar a mil 038 casos, la tercera cifra más alta en lo que va de la pandemia, que solo superó el 2 y 3 de febrero con mil 049 y mil 040 activos respectivamente.
