Sin riesgo sanitario ni contaminación por peces muertos en Deportiva de Saltillo, afirma Inedec
El problema de peces muertos que se reportó a partir del pasado lunes 4 de abril en el lago de la Deportiva de Saltillo no representó un riesgo sanitario para los visitantes y las especies que habitan en el parque, informó Alina Garza Herrera, directora general del Instituto Estatal del Deporte de Coahuila (Inedec).
“Hemos estado monitoreando la calidad del agua y no tenemos ningún problema”, explicó.
La Deportiva Francisco I. Madero de Saltillo es un parque estatal bajo la jurisdicción del Inedec, dependencia que dio aviso a la Secretaría de Medio Ambiente de Coahuila para recibir asesorías y atención a la problemática.
Asimismo el personal de limpieza y mantenimiento de la Deportiva realizó diariamente jornadas para retirar los peces muertos del lago y darles el tratamiento indicado por la Secretaría de Salud estatal.
Alina Garza señaló que las condiciones climáticas de calor y la sobrepoblación de peces en el lago provocaron que muchos de estas especies murieran, algo que fue observado por visitantes, quienes reportaron la situación a VANGUARDIA.

“Tuvimos el tema de peces muertos efectivamente, no hemos llegado a un tema de gravedad o que nos pueda generar un impacto negativo entre las especies que conviven dentro de este ecosistema en la Deportiva”, apuntó la directora del Inedec.
Además subrayó que la cantidad de ejemplares muertos ha disminuido considerablemente.
HASTA 5 MIL VISITANTES AL DÍA
La directora del Inedec, Alina Garza, señaló que la Deportiva de Saltillo recibe entre 3 mil y 5 mil visitantes al día durante el fin de semana, afluencia que se intensifica durante el periodo vacacional de Semana Santa.
Por ello exhortó a mantener limpio el parque estatal, sobre todo para que las personas que acudan no dejen basura.
Garza Herrera recordó que el horario de la Deportiva Francisco I. Madero es de martes a domingo de 8:00 a 21:00 horas, pues el lunes es utilizado para dar mantenimiento general a las instalaciones.
