Apuesta Jiaxipera 60 mdd por Ramos Arizpe

Una inversión de 60 millones de dólares fue anunciada ayer por la empresa china Jiaxipera Compressor Co., que instalará una planta en Ramos Arizpe para producir 6 millones de compresores para refrigeradores anuales y donde generará 600 empleos.
Así, esta empresa se convirtió en el proyecto de inversión número 19 de este año en Coahuila y durante su presentación estuvieron el gobernador Miguel Ángel Riquelme, el alcalde de Ramos Arizpe, José María Morales Padilla, y el secretario de Economía, Claudio Bres Garza, entre otros.

El gerente general de Jiaxipera, Haidong Jiang, explicó que la sede de la empresa se ubica en una ciudad muy cercana a Shanghái y producen compresores para refrigeradores, siendo líderes en este mercado, pues en Europa tienen una participación del 39% y en Latinoamérica están creciendo rápidamente.
Indicó que llegaron a una etapa en la que decidieron invertir en Norteamérica y escogieron a México porque se ubica entre los primeros cinco lugares en producción de electrodomésticos, es un mercado muy grande, hay un ambiente favorable con el Gobierno y se cuenta con la experiencia de la mano de obra.
La nueva planta, que se ubicará en Davisa, iniciará pruebas a mediados de este año, aunque espera estar ya en producción masiva a finales del 2023.
Por su parte, el secretario de Economía, Claudio Bres Garza, destacó las cifras de empleo de Coahuila, donde de acuerdo con el IMSS en marzo se generaron 6 mil 380 empleos y 21 mil 430 durante el primer trimestre del año; dijo que Coahuila generó más empleos durante el primer trimestre que 9 estados en su conjunto.
NUEVO CLÚSTER
Señaló que además de la consolidación del clúster automotor, se está creando otro importante relacionado con la industria de aires acondicionado tanto industriales como comerciales y en electrodomésticos se sigue creciendo.
En Ramos Arizpe ya se cuenta con firmas de renombre como Whirlpool y Mabe.
Al respecto, el gobernador Miguel Ángel Riquelme Solís indicó que esta compañía produce 43 millones de compresores y de ellos, 22 millones son para exportación, mientras que en Ramos Arizpe fabricarán alrededor de 6 millones anuales.
Destacó que Jiaxipera tiene el mayor mercado en el mundo y una gran cantidad de clientes que permitirá a la larga desarrollar capacidades locales que permitan tener un mayor crecimiento en el sector de electrodomésticos.
Finalmente, comentó que Coahuila se sigue consolidando con la llegada de nuevas inversiones, pero sobre todo en el desarrollo de clústeres distintos al automotor.
