Encarecen flores y otros regalos por Día de San Valentín
Tan solo en comparación con enero se registran alzas de 40 a 87% en artículos como peluches, chocolates y ramos de rosas
En la celebración del Día del Amor y la Amistad, las parejas y amigos gastarán entre 40% y 87% más por un regalo que hubieran comprado en enero, de acuerdo con el Laboratorio de Análisis en Comercio, Economía y Negocios (LACEN) de la UNAM.

Por ejemplo, en enero una caja de chocolates costó entre 45 y 80 pesos, pero este 14 de febrero el gasto fue hasta 67% mayor, ya que se vendió entre los 75 y 130 pesos.
Los ramos de 12 rosas en enero se vendieron en 60 pesos en el mercado de Jamaica y en 80 pesos en tiendas de autoservicio, pero para el segundo fin de semana de febrero se vendieron en 149 pesos, es decir, 87% más caras, dijo el LACEN en un comunicado.
Mientras, un peluche de entre 180 y 260 pesos se incrementó 45%, e incluso se encontró que se vendió hasta en 320 pesos.
Si los amigos o pareja deciden ir a comer a un restaurante sencillo los precios subieron 63%, ya que si en una comida para dos personas se gastaban 249 pesos, ahora la erogación fue de 400 pesos.
¿Quién gasta más en San Valentín?
De acuerdo con el estudio del LACEN, los hombres pueden destinar mayor presupuesto para la compra de obsequios porque son los que en promedio ganan 545 pesos al día, mientras que las mujeres perciben un salario diario de 478 pesos.
Estimó que, en promedio, un mexicano gastará entre 400 y mil 500 pesos en regalos para este día de San Valentín, pero como no es día de quincena es probable que se utilicen tarjetas de crédito o se usen los ahorros.
