Familia lagunera pide justicia por hermano atropellado; aseguran hay irregularidades

Itandeguy Romo, hermana de Erick Romo, quien falleció hace tres meses después de ser atropellado, denunció la falta de agilización en la investigación y el posible proteccionismo hacia Gerardo de Jesús “G”, presunto autor del atropellamiento.
Gerardo de Jesús G. es actual presidente del Consejo Regional Agropecuario y según la hermana del hoy occiso, iba en estado de ebriedad cuando atropelló a su hermano de 36 años y lo aventó 25 metros.
Itandeguy Romo relató que el percance que le arrebató la vida a su hermano sucedió el 2 de junio en las calles Abasolo y Francisco I. Madero a las 19:50 horas de un sábado. Denunció que no está asentado que Gerardo de Jesús iba en estado de ebriedad. Además, refirió una serie de inconsistencias en el caso.
“En la carpeta dice que no venía intoxicado. Yo tengo pruebas de video donde mi hermano transitaba por la Abasolo y tiene la luz verde. El señor se pasa el semáforo rojo por la Madero y se lleva a mi hermano”, comentó.
Dijo que su hermano Erick iba en una motocicleta y la persona señalada en una camioneta Mercedes Benz. Denunció que el peritaje, realizado primero por el Tribunal de Justicia y después respaldado por el Ministerio Público, marca lo contrario: que su hermano se pasó el semáforo en rojo y que era su hermano quien venía en estado de ebriedad. “El muerto ya no se puede defender”, dijo.
Sin embargo, Itandeguy mencionó que tiene pruebas de video así como testigos visuales que aseveran lo contrario.
“El señora nunca fue detenido ni pisó los separos, cuando debió ser así. Fue llevado inmediatamente al Sanatorio Español. A mí me avisan a la una de la mañana de la funeraria González, no hubo nadie del Ministerio Público o Fiscalía que me avisara. Es un montón de dinero contra mí”, reclamó.
Consideró que la Fiscalía no ha realizado su trabajo como debiera. Refirió que por haber atropellado a su hermano en estado de ebriedad, el delito debería elevarse y no quedar en homicidio culposo.
La hermana de Erick aseguró que hace una semana el presunto culpable del atropellamiento le ofreció dinero. “Póngale precio a uno de sus hijos, y usted sabrá cuánto quiero yo, yo quiero justicia”, le respondió Itandeguy. Erick venía de su trabajo como soldador tornero. Le sobrevive un hijo de 13 años.
“Que se haga justicia, que el señor pague. No me va a regresar a mi hermano, ni el papá a mi sobrino ni el hijo a mis papás”, expuso.
