Piedras Negras: Recomiendan no usar celular al momento de emitir el voto

El consejero presidente del IEC expresó que estaba fuera de sus facultades legislar en la materia, ya que el uso del celular está dentro de las libertades personales de cada individuo
El Comité Municipal Electoral de Piedras Negras aprobó un acuerdo en el que se exhorta a los ciudadanos a que el día de la elección se abstengan de ingresar a las casillas de votación dispositivos electrónicos como celulares, con el fin de evitar mecanismos de coerción durante la jornada electoral por parte de dirigentes partidistas. El acuerdo es una “sugerencia” a los electores y consta de un solo punto.
La propuesta fue presentada por el Partido del Trabajo, y su candidato a la gubernatura de Coahuila, Ricardo Mejía Berdeja, ya había expresado públicamente la intención de este instituto político por plantear esta limitante, luego de que según expuso, se han utilizado estos dispositivos para obligar a trabajadores estatales y militantes a comprobar el voto a favor de tal o cual candidato.

El consejero presidente del Instituto Electoral de Coahuila (IEC), Rodrigo Paredes Lozano, confirmó que el Comité Municipal de Piedras Negras tomó el acuerdo por iniciativa y decisión propia, y destacó que se debe vigilar la conducta tanto de institutos políticos como de la ciudadanía, para evitar que se coarte la libre decisión del voto al llegar a la casilla e introducirse a la mampara.
Cabe mencionar que el consejero presidente del IEC expresó que estaba fuera de sus facultades el legislar en la materia o tomar acuerdos impositivos, ya que el uso del celular está dentro de las libertades personales de cada individuo; como se puede observar, en este caso el acuerdo subraya que se trata sólo de un exhorto.
