Albergues en Piedras Negras seguirán cerrados; se agudiza crisis migratoria

Piedras Negras, Coah. – Ante la problemática migratoria que impera en la frontera norte del país, en Piedras Negras, Coahuila los albergues continuaran cerrados, pues el hacinamiento propicia riesgos de contagios de COVID-19, y un ejemplo fue el pasado 17 de junio cuando se detectaron 21 casos confirmados.
Al respecto el local, Claudio Bres Garza, que la llegada de cientos de migrantes que intentan cruzar a Estados Unidos ha generado una crisis, pero esta se agrava por la deportación de cientos que a diario llegan a Piedras Negras.
En el caso de los migrantes a los que les fue detectado el contagio, se hizo un operativo rápido para aislarlos y así evitar que más personas se infectaran.
Advirtió que las instalaciones habilitadas como albergues que operan algunas iglesias en la ciudad seguirán cerrados por la pandemia.
"Hasta este momento sí, (continuaran cerrados) más que los albergues, el problema que se nos ha venido creando son estas casas de seguridad donde en una forma indiscriminada en un lugar muy pequeño hacinan a muchas personas que está peor que una casa de migrantes, y que ahí, es donde se da el problema de los contagios", aseguró el edil.
Dijo que el problema también es que estas casas de seguridad buscan ser controladas por el crimen organizado, por el negocio tan rentable que estos representan, sin embargo, las denuncias que hacen los vecinos han venido ayudar a la autoridad a ubicar estos puntos donde se refugian.
El alcalde reconoció que el problema migratorio se está saliendo de control, y de esto se ve no solo en Piedras Negras sino en otras como Matamoros, Reynosa, Laredo o Ciudad Juárez, pues llegan oleadas de personas que provienen de países de Centroamérica, América del sur e inclusive de África.
