Potenciaría a Región Sureste de Coahuila planta de Tesla en NL

Un impacto positivo también para la Región Sureste de Coahuila se contempla que deje la visita que el dueño de Tesla, Elon Musk, realizó a Nuevo León, consideraron empresarios locales; esto ante el liderazgo que tiene la zona en producción de autos eléctricos y componentes.
El director de Coparmex Coahuila Sureste, Miguel Monroy Robles, dijo que con Tesla se espera un efecto tipo KIA con la Región Sureste de Coahuila, consideró que la visita que realizó Elon Musk a Nuevo León puede ser también muy positiva para esta región por el liderazgo que se tiene en el tema de autos eléctricos y los componentes.
“Pasará lo mismo que con KIA, se establecieron allá, pero la base de proveedores está aquí, seguramente vendrán muchas inversiones de la cadena de proveedores para Coahuila”, aseguró.
Añadió que las inversiones se pueden ir para allá por beneficios, sin embargo, la base de proveedores se quedará aquí, toda vez que conocen la calidad de la manufactura de la región, así como de la mano y mente de obra.
El director del Instituto de Estudios Económicos Coahuila Sureste (IEECS), Antonio Serrano Camarena consideró que esto favorecerá a la Región Sureste porque lo que se busca es una integración y esta es cada vez mayor entre la zona de Santa Catarina y la de Ramos Arizpe-Saltillo, por lo que prácticamente es un bulevar.
“Se esperaría una integración mayor con Nuevo León, en términos de la industria automotriz de autopartes y un flujo mayor de gente que vaya y venga de Santa Catarina a Ramos Arizpe, porque entre las dos ciudades son literalmente 20 minutos”, aseguró. Además dijo esa integración que se da no solo a nivel industrial, sino también de vivienda y recordó que en la región hay cuatro empresas que ya son proveedoras de Tesla, una de ellas es una coreana que produce la suspensión para los vehículos de esa compañía, mientras que otras producen pequeñas piezas.
Más proveedores
El presidente de la Asociación de Industriales y Empresarios de Ramos Arizpe (AIERA), Sergio Alain Aguilar Guerra, indicó que no tienen confirmación de que vayan a realizar una inversión de una planta ensambladora, pero sí de ampliar su red de distribuidores, además de que cuentan con unas vacantes muy específicas para que trabajen remotamente desde México, entre ellas para calidad de proveedores, logística y cadena de suministro.
“Sabemos que Nuevo León como en la Región Sureste de Coahuila contamos con varios proveedores que estamos exportando componentes a las plantas (de Tesla) en Texas y California, entonces es buena señal, sí puede traer beneficios para la región, por lo menos él confía en la base de proveedores que tenemos y su visita también da una señal positiva de que al menos conoce la región.
“Conoce su potencial y hasta ahorita él sigue tratando de impulsar la fabricación de los componentes aquí a bajo costo que es lo que ha visto en la región, mano de obra barata, de muy buena calidad y con experiencia en autopartes y también para vehículos eléctricos”, indicó.
Aguilar Guerra recordó que Tesla realizó una inversión millonaria en su planta de Texas y no ha llegado a su capacidad máxima, como para estarse preparando para una planta adicional; sin embargo, esa planta de Texas ha impactado positivamente porque muchos de los proveedores de la región fueron llamados y ganaron sus licitaciones, por lo que están exportando componentes para sus vehículos.
Reservan detalles
Aunque Elon Musk fue visto en Monterrey este fin de semana, por un acuerdo de confidencialidad el Gobierno de Nuevo León está impedido para dar detalles.
“No podemos realmente hablar más del tema porque tenemos un convenio de confidencialidad”, dijo el secretario de Economía estatal, Iván Rivas.
El secretario de Economía aseguró que Nuevo León está pasando por una gran etapa económica.
”El 20 por ciento de toda la inversión internacional está llegando a Nuevo León, esa es la importancia que tenemos en el estado”, dijo Rivas.
Especificó que vienen proyectos muy importantes para el estado, principalmente, en lo relacionado con electromovilidad.
Mencionó que de los proveedores de Tesla también están llegando muchos.
“¿Y la propia Tesla?”, se le cuestionó.
”Eso es lo que estamos analizando a ver que se puede hacer en un futuro”, respondió.
