Elementos del 69 Batallón de Infantería de Saltillo también resultaron contagiados por COVID-19
Se suman a los casos registrados por el brote en San Pedro
Al brote de casos positivos de COVID-19 en San Pedro se unieron tres elementos del Ejército Mexicano pertenecientes al 69 Batallón de Infantería de Saltillo, así casos algunos casos sospechosos; todos se encuentran en aislamiento para evitar la propagación.
Hasta el día de ayer se habían contabilizado como positivos tres casos en el 69 Batallón de Infantería en Saltillo, localizado sobre la carretera a Zacatecas, instalaciones en donde también zona habitacional.
Los infectados serían integrantes del Plan DN-III del Ejército Mexicano el cual colabora en las labores en contra del COVID-19.
En el municipio de San Pedro, en donde se encuentra el Cuartel de la Policía Militar, el secretario de Salud de Coahuila, Roberto Bernal Gómez, confirmó el jueves pasado que la cifra se había ampliado a 37 contagiados por coronavirus.
Las labores del Ejército Mexicano en la vigilancia epidemiológica, en el traslado de insumos y equipo médico a diferentes partes de la entidad y del país, así como su intervención en otras tareas diversas, está dejando también contagios.
A nivel nacional, de igual manera se reportan contagios en otras zonas militares en entidades como Baja California, Chihuahua y Sonora; hasta el 24 de abril sumaban 481 casos reportados dentro de las Fuerzas Armadas, de acuerdo con Sedena.
