Del 28 de febrero a la fecha, el Acuerdo Nacional por el Turismo reporta un avance de 45 por ciento en las metas correspondientes a las acciones del gobierno federal
Ciudad de México.- La Secretaría de Turismo, a través del Acuerdo Nacional por el Turismo (ANT), ha otorgado apoyos económicos por 85 millones de pesos a un total de 4 mil 880 pequeñas y medianas empresas turísticas.
Gloria Guevara, titular de la Sectur, explicó que del 28 de febrero a la fecha, el ANT reporta un avance de 45 por ciento en las metas correspondientes a las acciones del gobierno federal.
Los principales avances se observan en promoción de la actividad turística, inversión en infraestructura, capacitación de prestadores de servicios y en el otorgamiento de créditos para viajes.
Arturo Mendicuti Navarro, presidente de la Cámara de Comercio, resaltó la importancia de los apoyos que se brindan a las pequeñas y medianas empresas del sector turístico del país y reconoció los avances que se han logrado en el incremento de visitantes internacionales al país.
Durante la reunión que tuvo con el Consejo Directivo de la Cámara de Comercio, Servicios y Turismo de la ciudad de México, Guevara Manzo expuso que en materia de capacitación, se han brindado cursos de especialización a más de 54 mil prestadores de servicios turísticos en el país.
Detalló que a través del Fonacot se han otorgado créditos que ascienden a 149 millones de pesos para el financiamiento de viajes de esparcimiento, en beneficio de más de 43 mil trabajadores y sus familias.
