En noviembre, Coahuila empezará a recibir pago de Impuesto Sobre Hospedaje de Airbnb

A partir de noviembre, la plataforma de hospedaje Airbnb empezará a pagar a Coahuila el Impuesto Sobre Hospedaje (ISH) que se acordó , según dio a conocer la secretaria de Turismo y Pueblos Mágicos, Azucena Ramos Ramos.
Como se recordará, en agosto la plataforma de hospedaje suscribió un convenio con Coahuila, en el cual se comprometió a retener y enterar el ISH, por lo que partir del siguiente mes ya entra su primer pago.

Ramos Ramos señaló que el pago del ISH se realiza cada tres meses, por lo que a partir de noviembre se le empezará a cobrar, y recordó que al año se contempla recaudar entre 8 a 10 millones de pesos.
En el estado indicó que son 2 mil 400 las habitaciones que se tienen a través de esta plataforma de hospedaje; asimismo, estimó que Saltillo y Torreón estarán generando entre los dos el 60 por ciento de la recaudación del impuesto.
Destacó que fue todo un proceso el que se siguió adelante, que incluyó a la Secretaría de Finanzas, la Consejería Jurídica, Secretaría de Turismo y los directivos de Airbnb; asimismo dijo que es la plataforma quien recaba el impuesto, luego lo manda a Irlanda y de ahí se depositará directamente a Coahuila.
Por lo pronto, la secretaria de Turismo comentó que el ISH representa un 3 por ciento y del recurso que se recibe el 1.5 por ciento va para el estado y el otro 1.5 por ciento para las OCV; asimismo mientras que esta plataforma cuenta con 2 mil 400 habitaciones en la entidad, en el caso del sector hotelero son 15 mil.
