Crece incertidumbre en el mundo, ‘Gigante’ chino tumba mercados

Caídas superiores al 3% fueron las que presentaron los mercados financieros por la situación que está enfrentando China con su inmobiliaria que es la segunda más grande del mundo como es Evergrande, dijo Raymundo Díaz Robles.
El Ceo de Capítal Analyst señaló que el impacto se da por los diferentes niveles de financiamiento que tuvo con otros países y como esos bonos también se encuentran en otros fondos de inversión del mundo, por ello se está generando pánico, ya que en efecto cadena puede afectar a otros países y fondos.
“La preocupación es que pueda afectar simultáneamente a otras carteras de inversión del mundo, hasta Estados Unidos por tener presencia en esa empresa, sobre esos bonos y esas acciones”, dijo.
Agregó que se conoce que el gobierno chino y la policía ya tomó el embargo del edificio, por lo que de alguna manera puede existir una situación legal, sin embargo, también existe un impacto financiero que puede estar afectando el cumplimiento de obligaciones sobre diferentes fondos de pensiones en Estados Unidos y China.
Ayer, los mercados financieros internacionales vivieron un lunes negro ante la posible quiebra de Evergrande, la inmobiliaria más grande de China que tiene deudas cercanas a los 300 mil millones de dólares.
La empresa cotiza en la Bolsa de Hong Kong, donde el índice Hang Seng cerró con una caída de 3.3%, y además del sector inmobiliario, también tiene negocios en las industrias de alimentos, automóviles, seguros de vida, parques de diversiones, tecnología, entre otros.
Los inversores empezaron a preocuparse después de que en septiembre del año pasado se filtró una carta que mostraba que Evergrande había solicitado el apoyo del Gobierno para aprobar un plan de salida a bolsa que fue descartado, advirtiendo que se enfrentaba a una crisis de liquidez.
La preocupación se intensificó después de que la empresa admitió en junio que no había pagado a tiempo algunos pagarés, y de que en julio un tribunal chino congeló un depósito bancario de 20 millones de dólares de la empresa a petición del Guangfa Bank.
La rápida expansión de Evergrande se alimentó de deuda, obteniendo préstamos de forma agresiva para respaldar compras de terrenos y vendiendo apartamentos rápidamente, a pesar de los bajos márgenes, para volver a iniciar el ciclo.
