Repunta ocupación hotelera en Ramos por paro en GM

Desde este fin de semana empezó a repuntar la ocupación hotelera en Ramos Arizpe ante el paro en la planta Ensamble de General Motors, pues llegaron trabajadores procedentes de la Ciudad de México, Puebla y el Estado de México que participarán en los cambios en las líneas de producción.
El delegado en la Región Sureste de la Asociación Mexicana de Hoteles y Moteles de Coahuila (AMHMC), Mario Aguirre Rangel, informó que empezaron a llegar trabajadores eléctricos, de mantenimiento y e instaladores de líneas de producción, quienes durante 15 días se estarán hospedando en los hoteles de este municipio.

Destacó que por lo regular en Semana Santa la ocupación hotelera en Ramos Arizpe se ubica entre 20 y 30%, sin embargo, ahora con el paro de General Motors y ante los eventos religiosos que hay esta semana, se contempla que se ubique entre 50 a 60 por ciento.
Aguirre Rangel señaló que la clientela de los hoteles de Ramos Arizpe es principalmente industrial y menos turística, aunque destacó el caso particular de Termas de San Joaquín, que durante este periodo vacacional está al 100 por ciento.
Finalmente, comentó que en Ramos Arizpe se cuenta con 11 hoteles y cerca de 550 habitaciones; antes del inicio del actual periodo vacacional, se tenía una ocupación aproximada al 40 por ciento.
