COVID-19 mató al líder antivacunas en Austria, pero ocultaron su muerte

Johann Biacsics, líder antivacuna de No Vax en Austria, murió a la edad de 65 años en su casa luego de negarse a recibir tratamiento hospitalario por coronavirus positivo. A principios de noviembre, fue acompañado por familiares al hospital de Wiener Neustadt, un suburbio de Viena, con graves dificultades respiratorias a raíz de la infección por el virus.
Tras haber rechazado reiteradamente la administración de la vacuna, el activista también dijo que no a la asistencia sanitaria, pidiendo volver a casa donde estaba convencido de curarse con un enema de dióxido de cloro, principio activo de la lejía, para curarse.
Trascendió que Biacsics habría muerto el pasado 10 de noviembre, pero se hizo público en los circuitos No Vax cuando su hijo Marcus lanzó una recaudación de fondos en línea para demandar a los periódicos que cuestionaban la autoridad de los estudios de su padre sobre tratamientos alternativos, también para enfermedades como el cáncer.

La solución de dióxido de cloro (Chlordioxid) se presenta como una cura milagrosa contra el coronavirus en los círculos de escépticos, negacionistas y amantes de las terapias alternativas y caseras en Austria.
Biacsics se hizo partidario y difusor en Austria del movimiento “Querdenker” (significa “pensamiento lateral”) como teórico de la conspiración Qanon en Estados Unidos. Encabezó las protestas masivas contra las medidas sanitarias aplicadas desde que empezó la pandemia en Austria y Alemania.

El Gobierno austriaco insistió en su plan de imponer la vacunación obligatoria como única alternativa para combatir la pandemia, una medida que, según algunos medios, incluiría multas de hasta 7.200 euros a quien no la cumpla.
Los expertos atribuyen la mala situación epidemiológica del país, que en noviembre encadenó varios récords absolutos de contagios, en gran parte a que solo el 66% de la población ha recibido la pauta completa de vacunación.
Austria se encuentra desde hace una semana en confinamiento, con la gastronomía, hoteles, museos, gimnasios y negocios no esenciales cerrados.
