En Torreón colonos cierran bulevar Independencia por falta de agua

Torreón, Coahuila. – Provocando un gran caos vehicular, vecinos de varias colonias del centro y poniente de la ciudad, bloquearon este medio día el bulevar Independencia, a la altura del Simas Torreón, en protesta por el deficiente servicio de agua que reciben desde hace más de dos semanas.
Minutos antes de la una de la tarde procedieron a obstaculizar la vialidad, movimiento al que se sumaron habitantes de las colonias Compresora, Vencedora, Nueva Aurora, Antigua Aceitera y otras, manifestando malestar por la escasez de que padecen en sus hogares.
El bloqueo se mantuvo durante más de tres horas, tiempo en que los problemas de caos vial no se hicieron esperar al ser esta una de las principales vías de comunicación en la ciudad.
La decisión de bloquear la vialidad la tomaron después de que habían cerrado primero las oficinas del Simas, para impedir que la gente pagara sus recibos.
El gerente técnico de la paramunicipal, Raymundo Rodríguez de la Torre, negó que las citadas colonias se encuentren totalmente sin suministro de agua, al sostener que el mismo se sigue brindando en el sur como siempre, mediante tandeo, por lo que, dijo, "yo no veo que nadie se haya muerto de sed allá".
