Queda sin castigo 79% de homicidios dolosos en Coahuila
En aprehensiones, el Estado resulta ser efectivo y ocupa el noveno lugar a nivel nacional
Pese a que en cumplimiento de órdenes de aprehensión Coahuila es una de las nueve más efectivas de todo el País, en homicidios dolosos quedan sin castigo el 79.7 por ciento, de acuerdo con un análisis realizado por la organización Impunidad Cero.
Y aunque la cifra revelada es alta, la entidad está entre las que tienen menos impunidad. “Los indicadores de impunidad en homicidio doloso y el porcentaje de sentencias de menos de tres años incorporan información importante al índice, ya que permiten evaluar la persecución y la aplicación de sanciones para los delitos de alto impacto”, detalla el estudio realizado por la organización.
El mismo análisis refleja que Coahuila está por abajo de 21 entidades en índice de impunidad en el delito de homicidio doloso. Mientras que los estados con más alto índice de impunidad son Oaxaca con un 99.4 por ciento de impunidad al igual que Morelos, Guerrero con 98.2 por ciento; Chiapas 97.1 por ciento y Baja California Sur con 96.9 por ciento.
Dicho estudio, toma en cuenta datos de las carpetas de investigación del 2017, según el Secretariado Ejecutivo del Sistema Nacional de Seguridad Pública, y el seguimiento que tuvieron los casos hasta la fecha.
Durante 2017, el aparato de Seguridad registró en Coahuila una incidencia total de 222 carpetas de investigación por el delito de homicidio doloso, entre éstas se encuentran 101 eventos en los que le quitaron la vida a personas con uso de arma de fuego. Los datos de Impunidad Cero revelarían que sólo el 27 por ciento de los casos tuvieron justicia.
El estudio también cuenta que, de acuerdo con el Censo Nacional de Procuración de Justicia Estatal 2018, Coahuila es la novena entidad con efectividad en sus órdenes de aprehensión, pues aunque predomine la impunidad, el nivel de cumplimiento de las aprehensiones giradas contra las cumplidas es del 61 por ciento del total de los delitos.
