Saltillo: así nevó en la Alameda en el invierno de 1918 (Foto)

Este fin de semana por la capital coahuilense atraviesa la quinta tormenta invernal y el Frente Frío número 28. Con motivo de las bajas temperaturas y la caída de aguanieve registrada en distintas zonas de la ciudad, el Archivo Municipal de Saltillo reveló uno de sus tesoros fotográficos.
Se trata de una imagen tomada hace más de 100 años, por uno de los fotógrafos antiguos más famosos de la ciudad debido al legado que dejó a través de la cámara: Alejandro V. Carmona.
De acuerdo a información emitida por el personal del Archivo Municipal de Saltillo, la impresión de la imagen es plata sobre gelatina. Y según datos oficiales, es una fotografía tomada durante el invierno de 1918 en la Alameda Zaragoza de Saltillo.

Entre los jardines de la Alameda, ubicada entre las calles de Purcell, Ramos Arizpe, Aldama y Cuauhtémoc, la fotografía permite ver rasgos muy definidos de cinco personas. Dos de ellos son hombres y tres mujeres.
La vestimenta de uno de los varones se conforma de sombrero al estilo catrín, los dos llevan zapatos, pantalones y sacos largos que aparentan ser abrigos.
Por el lado de las mujeres, las tres llevan abrigos largos, sombreros, faldas y medias que les cubren parte de las piernas.
Dado a que las cinco personas están volando directo a la cámara, e incluso sonriendo, se pudiera pensar que fueron colocados en esas posiciones con el objetivo de posar para captar la fotografía.
