Se entrega al INM caravana de migrantes

TAPACHULA, CHIS.- La sexta caravana migrante, la tercera formada esta semana, que partió el viernes desde la ciudad de Tapachula, fronteriza con Guatemala, llegó a su fin ayer tras avanzar 40 kilómetros y entregarse a los agentes del Instituto Nacional de Migración (INM) en el municipio de Huixtla.
Desgastados, con hambre, sed y sin ánimos para emprender la caminata, este grupo de cerca de 300 migrantes transitó desde Tapachula hasta Huixtla bajo un ardiente asfalto provocado por temperaturas superiores a los 36 grados.
Los migrantes, con incertidumbre y temerosos de ser encerrados en una estación migratoria, aceptaron el diálogo y la propuesta de entregarse y subir a las furgonetas que dispuso el INM para su traslado.
Los agentes de migración atendieron a las familias que llevaban niños luego de que habían caminado durante el viernes y parte del sábado bajo el sol y fuertes lluvias.
Las caravanas de migrantes en la frontera sur de México se han vuelto imparables ya que sus integrantes buscan salir caminando todos los días de Tapachula en busca de otras oficinas de regularización migratoria donde puedan obtener sus documentos.
