Aumenta al menos 20 por ciento tarifa de hoteles en Saltillo
Tras una reunión el pasado 18 de diciembre, empresarios hoteleros acordaron un aumento al 20 por ciento en las tarifas de las habitaciones en Saltillo.
Héctor Horacio Dávila, vicepresidente de la Asociación Mexicana de Hoteles y Moteles de Coahuila, declaró en entrevista para VANGUARDIA que las medidas se tomaron ante el incremento en materias primas e insumos.
Con las nuevas medidas, de acuerdo con Dávila Rodríguez, una habitación pasará de costar mil 200 en 2023 a mil 500 pesos en promedio para el 2024.

El empresario hotelero explicó que el incremento se dio a raíz de otros aumentos, como el del servicio de electricidad, el salario mínimo y la inflación.
“Básicamente, el incremento de la luz fue del 20 por ciento, lo que nos afecta casi un nueve por ciento, y también se incrementó el salario mínimo, que viene siendo un 20 por ciento más, incrementando un 10 por ciento. Ahí llevamos 18 más el cinco por ciento de la inflación”, detalló Héctor Horacio Dávila.
No obstante, agregó que otros hoteles aumentarán entre el 28 y el 30 por ciento de sus tarifas.
“Lo que estamos viendo es un costo de recuperación; no estamos fuera de lo normal”, señaló.
HUEVO, TORTILLA Y SALARIO AUMENTAN
De acuerdo con información de la Oficina de Convenciones y Visitantes (OCV), otros productos han aumentado en mayor medida que las tarifas de hoteles.
Mientras que el kilo de huevo San Juan costaba 24.50 pesos en 2018, en 2023 pasó a costar 50 pesos, es decir, un incremento histórico del 104 por ciento.
Por su parte, la OCV señala que la tortilla de maíz costó 15.5 pesos el kilo en 2018, precio que alcanzó los 24.5 para el 2023, resultando en un incremento histórico del 58.06 por ciento.

REANUDAN ACTIVIDAD HOTELERA
Este 2023 se presentaron dos proyectos para nuevas cadenas hoteleras en la capital de Coahuila, reflejo de un mercado en reactivación después de la pandemia.
En agosto de este año, VANGUARDIA publicó que, de acuerdo con la Oficina de Convenciones y Visitantes (OCV) Saltillo, la cadena Wyndham Garden, con presencia en otras 40 ciudades de México, se instalará en la ciudad.
Además, este medio pudo conocer que otro hotel espera ser abierto este 2024 en el Centro Histórico de Saltillo, particularmente en el cruce de las calles José María Morelos y Miguel Ramos Arizpe.
