‘El ruiseñor y el oso’

Un conflicto añejo que resurge en una época de pandemia y sufrimiento es el iniciado por el “oso ruso”, Putin, en contra del pueblo ucraniano.
La historia de Ucrania y Rusia está entrelazada y se remonta, al menos, a la edad media en el contexto de Kievan Rus, un estado eslavo oriental. Pero ambos evolucionaron por separado teniendo cada uno un idioma y cultura que partían de una raíz común. A partir del siglo 17, grandes porciones de territorio de Ucrania pasaron a formar parte del Imperio Ruso. Mientras que en el siglo 20, con excepción de un breve periodo de independencia en 1917, Ucrania se incorporó a la Unión Soviética. La independencia duradera finalmente llegó en 1991, tras la disolución de la URSS, perdiendo esta nación las riquezas considerables de la tierra ucraniana.
Estas riquezas incluyen: amoniaco, centrales eléctricas, redes ferroviarias, ser el productor número uno a nivel mundial de geolocalizadores, tercero en exportación de hierro, cuarto en arcilla y titanio, octavo en minerales con las mayores reservas de titanio, aluminio, uranio, manganeso y mercurio; cuarto lugar en recursos naturales; además
provee de papa, girasol, maíz, centeno y trigo todo a nivel mundial y en lo local con Europa: es primer lugar en tierra
cultivable.
Se afirma que Ucrania podría satisfacer las necesidades alimenticias de 600 millones de personas cada año.
La península de Crimea es la joya de la corona, o botín, que los rusos quieren seguir manteniendo bajo control, y en 2014 se realizó la primera “operación especial” por parte del ejército ruso. Sin embargo, hoy el conflicto no es sólo para mantener ese territorio, sino establecer el control total sobre Donbás y el sur de Ucrania. Esto proporcionará un corredor terrestre a Crimea.
Por su parte, Ucrania ha sido apoyada por la Unión Europea en los últimos años con subsidios importantes, sobre todo porque es una nación cuya industria depende totalmente del gas ruso y ha ido aumentado de forma desproporcionada. Ucrania está volteando a la OTAN a solicitar apoyo, y este es el mayor coraje de Putin y la maquinaria militar rusa.
Y en ello viene la guerra que hoy día puede alcanzar magnitud con la intentona de involucrar a Polonia en el conflicto, recordando que la última Guerra Mundial inició cuando Alemania invadió ese país.
Lo único que mantiene en equilibrio y detenimiento a los países del mundo
es que Rusia les puede desconectar el gas natural haciendo colapsar a sus economías; esta es la razón por la que se han limitado a hacer condenas y declaraciones de la injusticia hacia el pueblo ucraniano y otras cosas más allá,
pero ya enviaron a un mensajero de paz: al enigmático Henry Kissinger, el feo mas afrodisiaco, como lo bautizó Mao Tse-Tung.
Kissinger afirmó en el foro de Davos: “Rusia ha sido, durante 400 años, una parte esencial de Europa, y la política europea durante ese periodo de tiempo se ha visto afectada, fundamentalmente por su evaluación europea del papel de Rusia. A veces de manera observadora, pero en varias ocasiones como garante o instrumento, mediante el cual se podría restablecer el equilibrio europeo. La política actual debe tener en cuenta que es importante desarrollar la restauración de este papel, de modo que Rusia no se vea impulsada a una alianza permanente con China. Idealmente, la línea divisoria debería devolver el statu quo anterior. Creo que expandir la guerra más allá de Polonia la convertiría en una guerra y no por la libertad de Ucrania (...) sino contra la propia Rusia”.
Los expertos en política internacional han interpretado que cuando dijo devolver el statu quo anterior se refería a que Ucrania debería aceptar la situación en que Rusia controlaba formalmente Crimea e informalmente la región de Donetsk, tras reconocerlas como regiones independientes.
Kissinger se pronunció por evitar una derrota aplastante del gobierno de Putin y propone ver a largo plazo la relación que ha tenido Rusia con Europa.
La moneda fue puesta en el aire y dependerá no sólo de sus dos caras, sino de ceder en el orgullo de las dos partes, sin embargo, hoy una es la invadida.
El ruiseñor, ave nacional de Ucrania, ya no cantará al mismo ritmo y menos
la dulce melodía, será un trisar de angustia y desolación. Sin duda la guerra, a decir de Gieco: “es un monstruo grande y pisa fuerte, sobre toda la inocencia de la gente”.
